Mary Miss is an environmental based artist who's sculptures boarder on architecture, landscape design and installation art. In Roshanara's Net (2008) Miss considers the well being of individuals and community improvement by reworking a 17th Century Mughal garden with ayurvedic plants and plaques that caption their usage. The plaques, formed from orange and blue pipe, reference the dwindling art of Indian textile.
